VIDEO: NATO Chief Calls Trump 'Daddy', Marco Rubio Cracks Up Behind Him

At a press event on Wednesday, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte referred to President Trump as 'daddy' during a conversation about the fighting between Israel and Iran.

Trump compared the two countries to kids fighting on a schoolyard, to which Rutte responded, "Then Daddy has to sometimes use strong language."

Later, a reporter asked Trump about the exchange, and Marco Rubio couldn't contain his amusement.

Rutte has since denied he called Trump "daddy." He told reporters, “The daddy thing, I didn’t call him ‘daddy,'”

“What I said is that sometimes, in Europe, I hear sometimes countries saying, ‘Hey, Mark, will the U.S. stay with us?’ And I said that sounds a little bit like a small child asking his daddy, ‘Hey, are you still staying with the family?’ So in that sense, I used ‘daddy’ — not that I was calling President Trump daddy.”
