Fire at Epcot's France Pavilion: Ratatouille Ride Evacuated

On the evening of March 22, 2025, a fire broke out in the backstage area of the France Pavilion at Walt Disney World's EPCOT theme park. The blaze originated from a walk-in cooler near the Ratatouille ride, causing thick black smoke to fill the area.

Guests were promptly evacuated from the pavilion, including those on the popular "Remy's Ratatouille Adventure" ride. The fire was quickly extinguished, and no injuries were reported. As a precaution, all attractions, shops, and restaurants in the France Pavilion were temporarily closed.
