Florida Wildlife Officials were recently sent to euthanize over 30 Burmese and reticulated pythons in Broward County. They belonged to a breeder who was given 5 months to get rid of them after they were added to the prohibited species list back in 2021.
The breeder, Bill McAdams, also had some boa constrictors that were not supposed to be killed. Boa constrictors are legal to own and breed as pets.
Two of the officials accidentally killed a boa constrictor named Big Shirl... She happened to be pregnant with 32 baby snakes, valued at about $3,500 each.
Watch as the FWC workers realize their expensive mistake.
