We're learning even more about what happened with the Laundrie family in the days and weeks after their son Brian Laundrie killed his girlfriend Gabby Petito.
According to Pat Reilly, the attorney who represents Petito's parents, Roberta Laundrie wrote a letter to her son and offered to help bury Gabby's body.
Reilly told WFLA-TV that there are some "pretty extreme things" that were said in that letter and that it was contained in an envelope that said, "burn this after reading." Reilly says he saw the letter during a meeting with the Laundrie family lawyer Steven Bertolino at an FBI office in Tampa.
Court documents filed back in December also allege that Laundrie's mother told him in the letter that she would help him "get a shovel" so he could bury Gabby's body.
The Petito family is suing Christopher and Roberta Laundrie, claiming they knew their son had killed Gabby and that they knew were her body was.
