Snake on a plane?

Not on TSA's watch!

Last month a Florida woman attempted to bring a 4-foot boa constrictor onto her flight out of Tampa International Airport.

When TSA agents noticed the snake slithering around inside her bag as it went through the x-ray machine, the woman told them it was her "emotional support" animal named Bartholomew.

TSA contacted the airline to verify their policy with regard to emotional support animals.

They were told that snakes are not on the list of emotional support pets and Bartholomew was not permitted to board the plane. In fact, snakes are not approved for carry on luggage on any airline, although some do allow properly secured snakes to be transported in checked bags.
