The Florida Chick-fil-A worker recently seen in a viral video stopping a carjacking involving a mother and her child has received an award from the Sheriff.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff and Sheriff Eric Aden surprised the Chick-fil-A hero, Mykel Gordon, at work on Thursday and awarded him a Community Service Award certificate for his heroism in stopping the carjacking.
"We're grateful for the courage of people like Mykel, and we're grateful to Molly Kelner, whose video helped capture "the capture" everyone is talking about!" The Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post.
