You may not know this, but a LOT of things get left on Pinellas County buses, and some of those items are being shared with us, and some are a little strange.
According to WFLA News Channel 8, every morning, Tiara Holmes of the Pinellas County Suncoast Transit Authority gets the chance to look at the lost & found every day after she unlocks the lobby door at the bus headquarters.
Here are a few things listed in the article we found to stand out:
- A Wallet
- 2 Cell Phones
- Something Wrapped in a Napkin
- Leftovers
- Lunch Boxes
- Wheelchairs
- Walkers & Canes
- Bottom Dentures
- Prosthetic Leg
- Fishing Poles
- Golf Clubs
- Four Wooden Crosses (Left on Different Buses over four different days)
Anything bus drivers find that they do not consider trash or anything turned in by other riders gets put into the lost and found locker.
