Florida Woman Arrested For Making Over 11,000 Calls To Police This Year

A Florida woman was arrested after making over 11,000 calls to police so far this year. At one point, the woman, Carla Jefferson, made 512 calls in 24 hours.

Police say Jefferson's eleven-thousand calls over the last year have accounted for roughly 10% of the total call volume for the St. Petersburg Police Department. Authorities in St. Pete say that Jefferson would continuously harass, belittle, yell at, and threaten the employees who answer her calls.
