A St. Petersburg man was arrested on Monday after local authorities said he broke into a Fort Myers home to forcibly kiss a woman doing her laundry.
36-year-old Shawn Pons, of St. Pete, broke into the woman's home, grabbed her from behind as she was doing laundry, and attempted to kiss her, according to Lee County Sheriff's Office.
Luckily, the victim was able to escape Pon's grip and call 911. When deputies arrived, Pons was outside in the driveway sitting in a parked car. He told deputies he had been in Fort Myers helping his brother.
