This Sarasota man was seen using the sidewalk as a roadway as a way to avoid driving in rush hour traffic. The dashcam video was captured around the 8000 block of Fruitville Road, according to Fox 13 News. A resident called Sarasota County Sheriff's Office after reportedly seeing this vehicle do this more than once to avoid traffic.
The next day, the Sherriff's Office was dispatched and witnessed the sedan pulling this maneuver around 7 AM. The driver was pulled over and issued a citation.
