"I have no idea how to fly the airplane." That's what one man from Lakeland with zero flying experience was saying just as he was forced to land a plane after his pilot suffered a medical emergency.
Miraculously, with the help of air traffic control, the man was able to safely land the single-engine Cessna 208 at Palm Beach International Airport on Tuesday afternoon.
This scene unfolded on a flight from the Bahamas after the pilot complained of a headache and ultimately passed out. The passenger who stepped in can be heard on the video talking with air traffic controller Robert Morgan, who was able to assist with safely landing the plane.
