A Florida teacher who identifies as pansexual claims she was terminated from her job for discussing sexual orientation with students.
When she was asked about her sexual orientation by students, Cape Coral art teacher Casey Scott discussed her pansexual status and asked students to draw pictures that represent their sexual orientation. She says her art students drew flag pictures to express their sexuality, which she hung on her classroom door.
Mrs. Casey Scott, who is married to a man and was a first-year art teacher at Trafalgar Middle School said school and said leaders made her remove the drawings and throw them out.
After this, Scott was sent home and received a call from school administrators who informed her that she was being released from her contract.
