Videos show a man, who was reportedly sitting in the front row, leaping onto the stage in Los Angeles and tackling Chappelle to the ground, who later brushed it off and was able to make jokes about it.
Security immediately got the situation under control, and the attacker was taken away in an ambulance.
Chappelle didn't skip a beat and turned the incident into a laughing matter, making jokes about the attack.
