Chili Blaze and Country in the Park Happening in St. Pete This Weekend

Chili Blaze and Country in the Park, Valspar Championship, and The Innings Festival are just a few things happening around the Tampa Bay area this weekend.

Pinellas Park Chili Blaze

You can dive into unlimited samplings of chili from more than 40 different teams. There will be live entertainment, craft vendors, children’s activities, other food items, beer, and fireworks. The event helps benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The price is $10 and will get you a sampling wristband.

Chili Blaze will be held from 6-11 p.m. on Friday. England Brothers Bandshell Park, 5010 81st Ave. N, Pinellas Park. 

Country in the Park

It's a weekend full of fun in Pinellas Park. Chili Blaze on Friday and Country in the Park on Saturday. The best part? This is FREE.

There will be a rodeo from 3-6 PM and a race car display, plant sale, crafters, mechanical bull, children's activities, and the Roots and Boots'90ss Electric Throwdown featuring country music by Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin, and Collin Raye. Noon to 10 PM on Saturday also at the England Brothers Bandshell Park in Pinellas Park

Spring Training is BACK!

  • Yankees vs. Tigers: Sunday at 1:05 p.m., George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa
  • Blue Jays vs Pirates: Sunday TD Ballpark at 1:05 p.m. in Dunedin
  • Rays vs. Braves: Saturday 1:05 p.m., Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte

The Innings Festival

Spring training is back, and it's back just in time for the inaugural Innings Festival Florida! The festival will be on the grounds at Tampa's Raymond James Stadium on Saturday and Sunday from 1 - 11 PM. The headliners of the Festival are Green Day and The Lumineers. Fans can swing or catch a ball with some of the many players present, getting tips & tricks from them. The lineup also includes Incubus, 311, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Goo Goo Dolls, and Skip Marley, playing three stages.

Reggae Rise Up

This is the largest reggae music festival in the country, and it's happening right here in St. Pete at Vinoy Park! The park will be filled with tens of thousands of festival-goers to enjoy all the different music the festival offers. Headliners include Soja, Steel Pulse, Rebelution, Slightly Stoopid, Atmosphere, Iration, Shaggy, Pepper, and Tribal Seeds.

There are tons of other things happening across the Tampa Bay area, including the Florida Orchestra Rock Concert, Wayne Newton, and the Valspar Championship.
