The Knights of Sant’ Yago Are Taking Over The Streets of Tampa This Weekend

You will be able to see the Knights of Sant Yago, along with TV Personality Jerry Springer taking over the streets of Ybor City this weekend. On top of that, tons of other events are happening across Tampa Bay.

Of course, the Florida State Fair is happening at the Florida State Fairgrounds until February 21st. Always such a massive event here in Tampa, filled with yummy fried foods, terrific shows, exhibits, and of course, all the agriculture you could ever want. Whether you're there for the deep-fried banana pudding or to ride the Gravitron, you can do it all at the Florida State Fair.

Knights of Sant' Yago Knight Parade is essentially Gasparilla, but at night time on the streets of Ybor City. Once again, Jerry Springer will be the special guest, so if you've ever dreamed of having Jerry toss you some beads, you're in luck! The parade is FREE and will kick off just after 6 pm on 7th avenue & N 14th Street.

Localtopia is also happening this weekend, and it's going to be the biggest year yet. After being restricted last year due to COVID, they are going all out this year with over 300 vendors. There will be six blocks closed to traffic around Williams Park. All to support local businesses. Localtopia will be on Saturday Feb. 12

Feel like getting some of that bottled-up energy out? Well, good luck. This is guaranteed fun for the ENTIRE family! Big Bounce America, AKA 'The World's Largest Bounce House,' is stopping in Tampa and will be at Raymond James Stadium this weekend. 1 pm on Friday, Feb. & 9 am. Saturday and Sunday. Time slot reservations are required at thebigbounceamerica.com

Also, as a fun side note, three dogs from the Tampa Bay area will be playing in this weekend's Puppy Bowl. Puppy Bowl XVIIIl airs at 2 p.m. Sunday on Animal Planet and Discovery Channel.
