THEATER

Swan Lake: The National Ballet Theatre of Odessa is a legendary ballet company from Ukraine, and this is the first time they are bringing 55 dancers to America. The show is 3 p.m. Sunday at Mahaffey Theater.

Something Rotten!: The Broadway comedic hit is set in 1595, when two brothers set out to write a hit play and end up creating the world’s first musical. With a backdrop in Shakespeare’s heyday, the show is full of witty references to musicals and energetic dance. The show is Saturday at Ruth Eckerd Hall.

Copenhagen: Tampa Repertory Theatre will present Michael Frayn’s Tony Award-winning drama Copenhagen at USF, opening Thursday thru Jan. 20. Historians have said the famous scientists discussed the rationale behind building an atomic bomb. The New York Times called Copenhagen “a work of art that humanizes physics in a way no other has done.”
