WATCH: Governor Prepares Florida For Nicole

Most of Florida is under either a hurricane warning or tropical storm watch or warning.

With State of Emergencies declared in 34 counties, Governor Ron DeSantis is confident more than enough resources are ready to respond.

He says 600 Florida National Guard members and seven Urban Search and Rescue teams are ready to respond, if necessary.

Evacuations have been ordered in more than a handful of counties.

About 16,000 linemen are staged to begin power restoration as soon as it's safe to respond.

As of early Wednesday afternoon, 23 school districts have already canceled classes tomorrow. So far, Broward and Miami-Dade are not among them.

DeSantis fears beaches already affected by Hurricane Ian will see addition erosion thanks to Nicole.
