As Hurricane Eta sets sight on the gulf coast of Florida, school districts are announcing early release and closings, get the latest as of publishing below, always check with your local school for the latest status.
Pasco County schools:
Pasco schools are in session today, Wednesday. We are aware of a change in the path of Tropical Storm Eta and are monitoring possible impacts to Pasco and the Tampa Bay Area. We will continue to provide updates throughout the day.
ALL Pinellas County Schools will have early dismissal today, Wednesday, Nov. 11 and will be closed tomorrow, Nov. 12.
Today’s dismissal times:
High Schools: 10:00 a.m.
Elementary Schools: 11:00 a.m.
Middle Schools: 12 noon
Due to the change in Eta’s track overnight, we will be moving forward with a 2-hour early dismissal today for all traditional public schools. All after-school activities, including aftercare, are canceled. We will continue to monitor the storm throughout the day to determine any impact on school tomorrow. We will share additional updates as more information becomes available.
