A State of Emergency has been declared for 12 counties in southern Georgia ahead of Hurricane Dorian. The storm is predicted to make landfall along the Florida coast as a strong category 3 storm or category 4.
On Thursday, Governor Brian Kemp issued an executive order with the State of Emergency status for the following counties in Georgia: Brantley, Bryan, Camden, Charlton, Chatham, Effingham, Glynn, Liberty, Long, McIntosh, Piece and Wayne counties.
