Forecast Track for Dorian Shifts Slightly South

The forecast track for Hurricane Dorian is shifting very slightly to the south.

As of 5-o'clock Thursday morning, the storm had maximum sustained winds of 80-miles-per hour, and it's getting stronger.

The entire Florida peninsula is under the cone of uncertainty, but Dorian is forecast to come ashore early Monday as a major Category Three storm with winds over 125-miles-per-hour.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has declared a state of emergency and is asking people to get their families ready by stocking up on supplies and preparing their homes for high winds and heavy rains.
