Mark Levin Audio Rewind - 2/5/25

On Wednesday's Mark Levin Show, Ben Ferguson from the Ben Ferguson podcast fills in for Mark. It's a blessing that President Trump didn't win in 2020 - he wouldn't have been able to accomplish what he's doing now. Consider DOGE - it wouldn't have become a thing in 2020. Trump might not have signed an executive order banning men from women's sports, but he did so today. Americans are pushing back against transgender policies. This is a focused President with a team around him that supports, rather than undermines, his efforts. Later, Democrats have returned to their familiar strategy of impeaching Trump. When they refuse to accept the voters' choice, they resort to impeachment. The underlying reason for these impeachment calls is their frustration that Americans are discovering how much of their tax dollars are being spent on wasteful projects. Also, Pam Bondi was sworn in as Attorney General and her first action was to freeze funding for all sanctuary cities. This move is aimed at upholding federal immigration law. Afterward, it was no accident that Benjamin Netanyahu was the first foreign leader to meet with Trump; it sent a clear message to the world that America stands with Israel. Finally, what might be the biggest scandal in news media history has come to light: Politico and the AP have been receiving payments from the federal government. I believe we can all agree that taxpayer dollars should not be funding these news organizations. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

On Tuesday’s Mark Levin Show, WMAL’s Larry O’Connor fills in for Mark. Over the last two weeks, President Trump has demonstrated what can only be described as Einstein-level genius. The left has reverted to their old tricks, but now they've shifted their focus of hatred, venom, name-calling, and fear-mongering away from Trump. Instead, they're targeting a man who wasn't even elected to office - Elon Musk. Trump has cleverly set up Musk as an untouchable stalking horse. Previously, Democrats adored Musk - he was their hero, particularly for his work with electric vehicles. Also, if it's true that NJ Gov Phil Murphy is providing shelter to an undocumented immigrant in his home, he might be acting outside the law. This goes beyond sanctuary cities; it suggests he's running a sanctuary home. Later, Trump rolled out the idea that the U.S. should relocate the Palestinians, and then take over the Gaza Strip, which will "create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area.” Trump changed the terms of the conversation - no one is even suggesting a 2-state solution right now. On Monday's Mark Levin Show, Ben Ferguson from the Ben Ferguson podcast filled in for Mark. Canadian liquor stores began removing American liquors from their shelves, only to return them shortly after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau backed down to President Trump. The question on many people's minds is why Trump imposed tariffs on Canada. The concern was that with the Southern border secured, drug trafficking and illegal immigration might shift to the Northern border, necessitating tighter security there as well. This move was more about national security than addressing a trade deficit. Afterward, in this term, Trump's approach differs from his first; he now recognizes the deceit and understands the political game. Trump acts like a human wrecking ball, but in a constructive way, aiming to dismantle government inefficiencies. His battles are focused on safeguarding America and prioritizing American interests. Later, USAID employees were instructed to avoid their Washington, D.C. headquarters following Trump's decision to close it down, which caused the left to lose their minds. This move was part of Trump's mandate to highlight and eliminate fraud, waste, and the misuse of taxpayer funds. Finally, NJ Governor Phil Murphy implied that he’s harboring an illegal alien in his house. But now Murphy’s team says that’s not true. Learn more about your ad choices. The Best Of Mark Levin - 2/1/25

This week on the Mark Levin Show, if you want to learn about birthright citizenship, the wrong place to go is the Sunday shows. Listen to this show if you want to understand the 14th Amendment, its history, what it was based on, and the people who were involved. Margaret Brennan is on Face The Nation to advance her leftwing ideology. She claims a Reagan Judge in Seattle shot down the Trump executive order on birthright citizenship. That Judge was appointed by Reagan as part of a compromise. President Trump has come into office and wants to slash the government and control the bureaucracy. But the swamp doesn’t allow the people’s will to take hold. We have a massive federal government, and it grows and grows. The judiciary has become an arm of a massive, centralized government, protecting its interests against Trump. Judge Loren AliKhan, a Biden appointed Judge, temporarily blocked Trump’s plan to pause federal aid spending. AliKhan is an extremist leftist who thinks she can decide what the President can do or not. The war against President Trump has not stopped. We can’t let our guard down; he still has a whole bunch of cabinet nominees that have not yet been confirmed. Trump should get the people he wants, but the Democrats will try and stop all of them. The Democrat Party rejects the Judeo-Christian principles upon which this nation was founded; they promote the ideas of the Marxist. The Democrat Party hasn’t changed, and they won’t because it is an anti-American ideological operation. Why do we believe that when government does something it’s better than the private sector? Also, stop using the phrase big pharma; we all sound like Marxists. Little pharma can’t produce the medicine you’re taking. Many of us wouldn’t be alive but for big pharma. If we break them up, then nobody going to invest in the medicines we need. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

On Friday’s Mark Levin Show, the plane that crashed was filled with fabulous people.  The most logical suggestion by experts is that these helicopter pilots were focused on the other plane and didn’t see the plane they hit. More information is being gathered and investigated and hopefully, there will be more answers available. Later, in breaking news, a plane on medical assignment crashed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There’s very little info right now. The reporting so far is that two pilots, two doctors, one patient, and one family member on the plane have died. Then, President Trump is releasing some FBI agents, and the media is very upset.  Everything Trump does is questioned or has racial undertones – the media will never change. The deep state needs to be purged because Trump can’t trust them. Trump is serious about reining in this out-of-control government. Afterward, Democrats have no plan for the border, crime, or taxes. They don’t have any ideas on how to govern to help America. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

On Thursday’s Mark Levin Show, Democrats in Congress are more upset with what President Trump said about DEI than the crash that happened near Reagan National Airport. Accidents like this happen when the government wastes trillions of dollars on their left-wing woke demands instead of dealing with a staffing shortage at the air traffic control towers. The ideology of the left is killing people. If the government is going to run air traffic, they better do it right. Can you imagine the disaster if the government was in charge? Afterward, Sen Thom Tillis convinced Pete Hegseth’s ex-sister-in-law to come out against Hegseth to convince Republicans Senators to vote no on his nomination. Thankfully, it backfired. Why did Tillis vote for Hegseth after he tried to do all this damage? Now, those in North Carolina know who he really is. Finally, Rep James Comer calls in to discuss his investigation into sanctuary cities and his new book, All the President's Money: Investigating the Secret Foreign Schemes That Made the Biden Family Rich. https://www.amazon.com/All-Presidents-Money-Investigating-Foreign/dp/0063420015 Learn more about your ad choices. Liberty and Learning - Part Five

On this special episode of Liberty and Learning, Mark Levin and Dr. Larry Arnn, President of Hillsdale College, embark on a compelling exploration of the political landscape in America. As they reflect on the significant shifts that have occurred under Donald Trump's administration, it becomes clear that this is a defining moment in American history. The episode begins with Levin and Arnn discussing the unprecedented changes in government bureaucracy. They highlight how the federal government has expanded its reach and influence over the years, moving from a mere 12% of the gross domestic product in 1930 to a staggering 51% today. This shift has led to the emergence of a comprehensive regime that regulates nearly every aspect of American life, raising concerns about the erosion of civil rights and the accountability of government to the people. One of the central themes of the discussion is the choice facing the American people: should they embrace constitutional governance or succumb to bureaucratic administrative control? Levin and Arnn argue that the current trajectory of the government is unsustainable and that a return to accountability is essential for the preservation of liberty. As the conversation unfolds, they delve into the concept of common sense and its role in effective governance. Drawing parallels between Trump's approach and the historical context of previous presidents, the hosts emphasize the importance of practical decision-making that takes into account the needs and desires of the American people. In conclusion, this episode serves as a thought-provoking examination of the challenges and opportunities facing America today. With a clear call to action, Levin and Arnn inspire listeners to engage in the political process and advocate for a government that is truly accountable to its citizens. Tune in to this enlightening discussion and join the conversation about liberty and learning in America. On Wednesday’s Mark Levin Show, the war against President Trump has not stopped. Later, the DOJ is said to be discussing dropping the case against NY Mayor Eric Adams. This was a petty case from the beginning. Robert Jackson once said it’s dangerous when you have prosecutors who focus on the man and not the law. They are the most dangerous people in any society because they have the power to indict with a grand jury. Afterward, Trump signed the Laken Riley Act and Trump announced up to 30,000 illegal immigrants will be sent to Guantanamo Bay. Finally, Professor Steven Calabresi calls in to discuss his new book, The Meese Revolution: The Making of a Constitutional Moment. The Meese Revolution is about the former attorney general's brilliant and courageous revolution to reinstitute the Constitution in our legal and justice system. https://www.amazon.com/Meese-Revolution-Making-Constitutional-Moment/dp/1641774290/ Learn more about your ad choices. On Tuesday’s Mark Levin Show, President Trump has come into office and wants to slash the government and control the bureaucracy. Also, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered the Defense Department Inspector General to investigate Gen Mark Milley's actions to “undermine the chain of command” during Trump’s first term, which could result in Milley being demoted and stripped of a star. He’s also pulling his security detail and clearance immediately. Later, the Senate Democrats, led by Chuck Schumer, just delivered for the Hamas front group CAIR and worldwide terrorism and prevented a majority vote on sanctioning the American-hating, Israel/Jew-hating ICC, which is led by Marxist-Islamists.  The Democrat Party has crossed a redline from which it can never recover. Afterward, Caroline Kennedy calls her cousin, RFK Jr., a 'predator' before his HHS hearing. Predator?  Perhaps Caroline is confusing RFK with Uncle Teddy. Now, there was a predator.  They hate RFK Jr. because he campaigned for Trump.  Finally, Professor Sadegh Zibakalam is a very brave man. He gave us an inside look at the Iranian people, who are rooting for Benjamin Netanyahu and Trump. He was indicted by Iran for saying that young Iranians are praising Netanyahu as a hero.
