The Tampa Bay Rays (38-32) defeated the new York Mets (45-26) 8-4 on Saturday evening to win the three-game interleague series in New York. At six
Trailing 2-1, the Rays erupted with a five-run fourth inning to break the game open. Drew Rasmussen (6-4, 2.55) got the win picking five innings in which he allowed four earned runs on three hits while striking out three and walking one.
