The Tampa Bay Rays (18-18) defeated the Chicago White Sox (8-27) 8-2 on Monday night at Tropicana Field. Tampa Bay has now won four in a row and are back to .500 on the season.
Jonny DeLuca continued his brilliant start for the Rays, getting a two-run single in the second and a two-run homer in the fifth to go 2-for4 with four RBIs. He now had ten RBIs in his first week with the Rays. Harold Ramirez also added a 4-for-4 night with a RBI and three runs scored.
