An appeals court will not speed up consideration of a case about whether proper public notice was given before Miami-Dade College's Board of Trustees approved giving land to the state for Donald Trump's presidential library.
A judge earlier this month issued a temporary injunction to halt the land transfer.
Resident Marvin Dunn is suing challenging the board’s Sept. 23 decision.
In requesting an expedited appeal, attorneys for the College contended speeding up consideration would serve “the public interest by providing prompt clarity to public entities about their obligations under the Sunshine Act."
