It's Election Day in Miami, Miami Beach, Homestead, Hialeah and Surfside. Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections Alina Garcia says they're using new Electronic Voter Identification devices to verify registration in real time, and the machines take pictures of the paper ballot to ensure transparency. Runoffs are expected in Miami and Hialeah where mayor's races are being decided. Voters must bring a valid government ID and vote in their assigned precinct. Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
