Tampa-based Project DYNAMO is preparing to deploy a team of U.S. military veterans and first responders to Jamaica to assist with what is expected to be a catastrophic hit from Category 5 Hurricane Melissa. The deployment, has been named Operation Cool Runnings.
Its primary objective is to provide assistance to those impacted in disaster areas and conflict zones, through search and rescue missions, getting disaster relief supplies to those that need it, and extracting Americans for danger zones.
Those in need of assistance, or loved ones of those in need, are urged to fill out a request form HERE
The group is gathering supplies from all across the country and set to deploy to Jamaica from Miami, as early as Wednesday morning.
