A pedestrian was struck and killed by a freight train in West Palm Beach.
Police say the person was on the tracks just outside the Brightline station along the 500 block of Clematis Street around 9 p.m. Friday night.
Officers arrived to find a stopped East Coast Railway freight train blocking traffic and a dead person near the tracks.
The investigation continues.
