Broward's Superintendent Holds State Of The District Address

Broward's Superintendent holding his State of the District address this morning. Dr. Howard Hepburn says new this year, additional security measures like the mandatory cross alert badge for teachers and staff. There are four new K-through-8 schools, and the district is integrating A.I. in every school. Budget cuts are expected to be the biggest obstacle; breakfast will be free for every student, lunch will not. The new school year begins two weeks from today. It starts August 14th in Miami-Dade.
