The Broward School Board meeting for the first time since the superintendent sent a memo saying the district needs to slash the budget by 65 million. Board member Allen Zeman says they're looking at cutting 104 campus monitor positions because security positions have grown while enrollment declines. The district also has 14 area security managers and about 90 armed guardians that didn't exist before the Parkland massacre. Broward will keep metal detectors in every high school. All changes will be approved as part of next year's budget.
