Town Of Jupiter Takes Applications From Residents Who Want To Be On Council

One Palm Beach County municipality is looking for residents with a desire to serve on the Town Council.

There's an open seat in Jupiter's 1st District after Cameron May's unsuccessful run for mayor in March. By law, he had to resign from his council seat and says he respects the voters' wishes.

Those interested have until noon on May 12th to apply and the Town Council plans to review the candidates and potentially make an appointment May 20th.

The appointed individual will serve until the current term ends in March of next year.

Applicants must be registered voters and residents of Jupiter's 1st District.
