The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has released the names in a police involved shooting.

Deputies responded to a call of an armed domestic violence incident at the Emerald Dunes community near West Palm Beach early Saturday morning when they found 20-year old Alfonso Riser stabbing his father, 52-year old Tyrone Riser. The sheriff's office say the younger Riser ignored repeated commands to drop the knife.

That's when a deputy fired his weapon and struck the suspect. Both men were rendered medical aid but died from their injuries.

The deputy is on paid leave, which is standard protocol.
