Two students at Wellington High School are facing charges after bullets were found on campus.

It was the subject of what was initially reported as a "situation on campus" during the late morning hours yesterday. The school posted on its Facebook page that there was limited movement while police were investigating a matter.

Later we found out that School District Police received a tip regarding a possible safety threat. The principal says that after a thorough search, no weapons were found on campus.

The students are now facing criminal charges and will be subject to the 'most severe disciplinary consequences under the Student Code of Conduct.'

The limited movement alert was posted just before 11 a.m. and the "all clear" was given just after 12:30 p.m.

There is no school today for what the district calls a "spring holiday," on this Good Friday.
