A man is in custody for an evaluation after reportedly threatening to jump off an I-95 overpass this morning.

The situation unfolded in the 10 a.m. hour along the Interstate at Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach.

Photos taken from FDOT video at the scene showed the man on the concrete wall, appearing to be ready to jump onto the roadway below. There were several West Palm Beach police officers on the scene.

It initially prompted the closure of all lanes on both sides of the interstate, then the northbound lanes reopened and soon after the scene was listed as "all clear."

A Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman says "the subject is in custody for a medical evaluation."
