Investors getting anxious as stocks continue sliding on Wall Street. Florida International University Finance Professor Deanne Butchey says if you don't need the funds right away sit tight. If you're nearing retirement or need cash, she suggests selling a little at a time during time periods when the market is up. She says stocks don't fall or rise in a straight line so you should be able to time it. Bottom line, expect lots of volatility for the next several months.
