Florida's dry conditions are leading to brush fires and there's a new one burning in Martin County.
The Florida Forest Service is working with county firefighters to put out the flames, which have burned 20 acres and led to the evacuation of dozens of homes this afternoon.
The fire was first reported around 1 p.m. near Martin Highway, off of Southwest Boat Ramp Avenue.
Officials say the flames are moving slowly through heavy vegetation. Water is being sourced from a nearby pond to douse the flames.
There have been no injuries reported.
