Miami, FL - Miami drivers are losing significant time to rush hour congestion, with a recent study ranking the city as the eighth worst in the nation for traffic delays.

According to an analysis conducted by injury law firm Bader Scott using TomTom traffic data, Miami commuters spend an average of 3.20 hours per week stuck in rush hour traffic.

Over a standard 230-day work year, that adds up to 147 hours—or roughly 6.1 days—spent sitting in gridlock.

Miami is widely known for its beaches and nightlife, but residents also experience frustrating commutes.

The data highlights just how much time local drivers spend navigating congestion during peak travel times.

New York City ranks #1 as the worst city for rush hour traffic, with drivers spending an estimated 9.9 days per year in congestion.
