Hazmat crews are on the scene of an investigation into white powder found at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in Miramar off of SW 145th Ave.
Police and fire rescue units from Miramar and Hollywood were called to the scene around 8 a.m. after someone reportedly started feeling sick after coming in contact with an unknown white powder.
People who in line waiting for their immigration appointments were forced to evacuate.
Hazmat crews wearing protective gear have entered the facility.
This is a developing story and so far, no details have been given about the suspicious substance.
