A Palm Beach County high school student is charged with arson for allegedly setting another teen's car on fire.
Palm Beach Gardens Police say 18-year old Drake Hansen was questioned after his vehicle's license plate showed up on a camera near a 7-Eleven when the crime occurred in the early morning hours of January 26th.
He initially claimed he was at home sleeping and that a friend must have been driving his car, but later admitted that he and two friends were in the vehicle.
One of those friends said that they got out of the car dressed in hoodies to go "mess with" the victim's car. When asked why Hansen wanted to do that, the friend said that the student athlete had disrespected him.
