Man Sentenced For Defacing LGBTQ Rainbow Crosswalk In Delray Beach

A teen who defaced an intersection designed to honor the LGBTQ community in Delray Beach has been sentenced.

19-year old Dylan Brewer was given a year of probation and ordered to pay $5,700 to the city after he was convicted of criminal mischief and reckless driving.

Brewer will also have to perform 75 hours of community service. He was caught on surveillance video back in February, performing a burnout with his truck and destroying the rainbow crosswalk.

Brewer became the second person to be punished for the same action. Alexander Jerich also got probation and community service for vandalizing the crosswalk in 2021.
