Car Crashes Into Miramar Dialysis Center, Injuring 3 On New Year's Day

Miramar, FL - A car crashed into a Miramar dialysis center early on New Year's Day, injuring three people.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a vehicle collided with the Pure Life Renal of Miramar dialysis facility, located at 3180 S. University Drive, causing significant structural damage and resulting in three hospitalizations.

The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. when the driver reported that a tool had become lodged under the brake pedal, preventing the car from stopping.

This malfunction caused the vehicle to jump a curb, become airborne, and crash into the building.

Miramar Fire Rescue responded promptly, transporting the three adult occupants to Memorial Regional Hospital.

Fortunately, all sustained only minor injuries.

A Local 10 News crew at the scene observed the business's front glass window shattered, with a red "unsafe building" sign posted on one of the undamaged glass panels, indicating the extent of the structural damage.

As of now, no further details about the crash have been released by authorities.
