FLORIDA - South Florida will enjoy mild holiday weather with rising temperatures, light rain chances, and partly cloudy skies, making it ideal for Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa celebrations.

While rain chances increase for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, a washout is not anticipated, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy outdoor celebrations.

Following an unseasonably cool weekend, temperatures are expected to rebound into the upper 70s, reaching highs near 79 degrees today under partly cloudy skies.

Rain chances will remain low today, climbing to about 20% for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Despite the increased moisture, most areas will see only brief, scattered showers.

An east wind will persist throughout the week, bringing an elevated rip current risk along South Florida beaches.

Beachgoers are advised to exercise caution when entering the water.

As the start of Kwanzaa approaches on Thursday, the weather looks to remain partly cloudy and warm, with temperatures gradually climbing to near 80 degrees by the end of the week.

The overall forecast promises comfortable and seasonable conditions for the holidays, making it ideal for outdoor festivities and gatherings across South Florida.
