Efforts continue by police in West Palm Beach to clear the crime out of the city.

Police Spokesman Mike Jachles shares details of a recent one-day sting in which five suspected prostitutes were picked up by undercover officers.

"It's an ongoing enforcement. We're dealing with the world's oldest profession so we need to be continually out there and have that presence."

He says one of the suspects was willing to give sexual favors for $20.

Friday's arrests came after last month's sting which netted eleven arrests, all men accused of attempting to solicit prostitutes, who were actually undercover officers.

Jachles tells CBS 12 News that police have now made over 100 prostitution-related arrests this year.

The SaferWatch app is credited with being helpful in allowing the community to point out specific neighborhoods of concern.

Jachles says the app is available on iPhones and Androids and is not a replacement for 911 but allows residents to quickly share tips, photos and videos with law enforcement for non-emergency situations.
