Tallahassee Worship Leader Arrested On Charges of Sexually Abusing Teen

Tallahassee, FL - A 30-year-old worship leader at a Tallahassee, Florida church has been arrested on charges of sexually abusing a teenage girl within the church premises.

The suspect, identified as Hunter Eubanks, had been serving in the church's youth and college ministries and was a longtime member of the congregation.

According to law enforcement officials, the alleged abuse occurred over an unspecified period, with incidents taking place at the Morningside Church located at 1560 Pecrick Road.

The investigation began after the victim reported the abuse, leading to Eubanks' arrest.

He is currently facing charges related to child sex abuse and is being held in custody pending further legal proceedings.

Morningside Church has not yet issued a public statement regarding the arrest.

The case has raised concerns within the community about the safety of minors in religious institutions.

Authorities are urging anyone with additional information to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.

This incident adds to a series of similar cases in Florida, where individuals in positions of religious authority have been accused of sexual misconduct involving minors.

In April 2024, a pastor in Marathon was arrested for allegedly sexually battering a 15-year-old girl at his church.

These cases highlight the critical need for stringent safeguarding measures within religious organizations to protect vulnerable individuals.

The legal process will determine the outcome of the charges against Eubanks.
