Miami-Dade, FL - As Hurricane Milton intensifies, Florida residents are being advised to familiarize themselves with their evacuation zones.

The storm, now a Category 5, is expected to make landfall in Tampa on Wednesday, bringing potential flooding and tornado risks.

Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava has issued voluntary evacuations for mobile home parks in the county.

Evacuation zones in Florida are typically categorized from A to F, with Zone A being the most vulnerable and Zone F the least likely to be evacuated.

To determine your evacuation zone, visit the Florida Department of Emergency Management website and enter your home address.

Hurricane Milton continues to strengthen as it barrels toward Florida.

As of Monday evening, the storm is a Category 5 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 180 mph.

Forecasters predict it could intensify further before making landfall on the state's west coast later this week.
