The $3.17 average represents a 7-cent uptick from the previous week.
While Hurricane Helene is expected to impact gasoline demand in the Southeast, experts anticipate minimal disruption to supply.
Regional price variations persist across the region, with the Panhandle offering the lowest average prices.
Crestview-Fort Walton Beach, Panama City, and Pensacola reporting costs around $2.87, $2.91, and $2.92 per gallon, respectively.
The West Palm Beach-Boca Raton area has the highest average price in Florida at $3.33 per gallon.
Diesel fuel prices currently stand at $3.42 per gallon in Florida, a stark contrast to the $4.51 diesel prices observed in September of 2023.
Florida's record-high gasoline prices occurred on June 13th, 2022, when unleaded gas reached $4.89 per gallon and diesel fuel topped out at $5.72.
