As the work week gets underway, a busy roadway near Mar-a-Lago is closed once again.
Palm Beach Fire Rescue says it will remain that way until further notice.
The closure had first been put into place in July after the assassination attempt on former President Trump and was supposed to remain in place until at least the November election. But after an uproar from drivers, police said they had worked with the Secret Service to make it so the roadway would remain open when Trump was NOT at Mar-a-Lago.
Then came Sunday's announcement.
The former president is said to be campaigning in Michigan on Monday, yet South Ocean Boulevard is shut down to through traffic between South County Road and Southern Boulevard.
