Broward State Attorney First In Florida To Endorse Recreational Pot

Broward State Attorney Harold Pryor becomes the first prosecutor in Florida to publicly endorse Amendment Three, which would legalize recreational pot. Republican State Senator Joe Gruters also endorses it, even though Governor Ron DeSantis is against it. Pryor's stance goes against state law requiring him to prosecute minor marijuana offenses. He says he'll continue to enforce the law, but he's seen too many examples of how low-level, non-violent marijuana charges have ruined people's lives.
