Arcadia, FL - A customer at a Florida McDonald's got a surprise when they spotted an alligator being transported on a trailer in the drive-thru.

A rather unusual sight greeted customers at a local McDonald's on Friday A large alligator was spotted being transported on a trailer in the restaurant's parking lot.

The unexpected encounter was captured on camera by a surprised customer, Dorothy Wise.

The gator, it turns out, was a recent hunting trophy.

According to the driver, Summer, the alligator was harvested by an out-of-state veteran participating in the state's alligator hunting season, which began on August 15th.

The incident quickly became a local talking point, with many sharing the surprising images on social media.
