Naples, FL - Two individuals have been arrested for engaging in public sexual intercourse in front of children at a Southwest Florida pier.
Authorities say the suspects, identified as 20-year-old Allyssia Razo and 33-year-old Zadok Westfield, were arrested by Naples Police after being accused of engaging in sexual intercourse at the Naples Pier.
The Naples Police Department received multiple calls about the inappropriate public display around 4:30 p.m. Monday.
Officers arrived at the scene to find Razo and Westfield actively engaged in intercourse.
Upon being confronted by law enforcement, Razo attempted to evade arrest by jumping into the water, only to be apprehended by beach patrol.
Westfield did not attempt to flee and was escorted off the pier by police.
A witness present at the scene with four children, aged 7 to 15, reported the incident after the children witnessed the public sex act.
Razo was arrested on charges of trespassing, disturbing the peace, and resisting an officer, while Westfield was charged with disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.
The Naples Police Department is continuing to investigate Monday's incident.
