Memphis Stripper Arrested for Stabbing Friend At South Florida Strip Club

Miami Beach, FL - A Memphis exotic dancer is facing attempted murder charges after allegedly stabbing a former friend multiple times in a Miami Beach hotel room.

The attack occurred on Tuesday evening at The Attic Hotel on Collins Avenue.

The victim, also a stripper from Memphis, contacted police at approximately 8:15 PM after she had been stabbed by Tequila Campbell.

Authorities arriving at the scene found the victim suffering from ten to fifteen stab wounds and a collapsed lung.

She was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center for treatment.

According to the arrest report, the victim and Campbell argued about Campbell occupying the hotel room which was booked under the victim's name.

The argument escalated after Campbell accused the victim of theft in a prior incident back in Tennessee.

The report further details a threat allegedly made by Campbell during the attack, where Campbell stated "Somebody c'mon before I kill this [expletive]."

The weapon, lodged in the victim's shoulder, required surgical removal at the hospital.

Miami Beach police apprehended Campbell on Wednesday afternoon.

Campbell initially claimed that the victim attacked her first.

Despite Campbell's version of events, police found her account inconsistent.

She is currently jailed without bond at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on charges of second-degree attempted murder.
